But what really sets this place apart is the chance to get up close and personal with elephants. Since the restaurant is connected to the Elephant Sanctuary, you might get the incredible opportunity to meet these gentle giants and learn a bit about them during your visit. It’s a special, ethical encounter that adds a whole new layer to your dining experience. You get the chance to actually feed them when this is possible.

Breakfast Itinerary (Jetboat Transfer Only) 

 

06:15 – 06:30: Pickup from Livingstone accommodations for road transfer to The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa. 

 

06:45: Jetboat departs from the lodge, offering a 30-minute scenic ride along the Zambezi River. 

 

07:15: Arrival at The Elephant Café for an interactive session with the rescued elephant herd

 

07:45: Gourmet breakfast is served on the deck overlooking the river. 

 

09:00: Jetboat departs back to the lodge.

 

09:30 – 10:00: Arrival at The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa, followed by transfer back to accommodations.
